Expanded Sizes
To better accommodate our clients’ plastic lumber needs, we offer a selection of expanded lumber sizes which are molded by another manufacturer, unlike our Bear Board extruded profiles. While these boards provide many of the same environmentally friendly attributes, they do carry a slightly different look and feel, and they also come in different color choices than the Bear Board extruded profiles. Our expanded sizes come with slightly different product specifications, so we encourage you to review the specifications we have provided under each product grouping.
Select™ Recycled Plastic Lumber
Bedford Technology’s 100% recycled Select™ Lumber is made of high density polyethylene plastic with colorants and ultraviolet stabilizers added to provide longevity in outside applications. These boards are solid with pigment throughout to provide consistent color and uniformity even after cutting. Select™ Lumber has clear advantages over composite lumber products.
Select™ Product Specifications
FiberForce® Reinforced Plastic Lumber
FiberForce® Reinforced Plastic Lumber is made of recycled high density polyethylene plastic, colorants, ultraviolet stabilizers, and combined with fiberglass. This combination provides better structural properties (strength and rigidity) for more demanding applications. FiberForce® has the same color properties as the Select™ product. FiberForce® also has clear advantages over composite lumber products for structural plastic lumber applications.

The lead time on these products is generally longer than the lead time for the Bear Board extruded profiles. Please call to discuss lead times and to get a quote for freight as this product ships from a different facility.
We require a $250 minimum on all Select and FiberForce plastic lumber orders. A $25 processing fee will be charged to orders that fall below the minimum.
